About Kenneth Montgomery Keillor

Kenneth Montgomery Keillor is a student of bible prophecy, a writer, composer, singer, rhythm guitarist and recording artist. He has composed over 300 songs. Ken has enjoyed an eclectic and tumultuous life. He is a child of the 1960's, and a product of the sex, drugs, rock n' roll and hippies generation. He has been a born-again Christian since about 1980 when he decided to repent of sin and accept Jesus Christ as his Saviour. He knows from experience that being a Christian doesn't mean you're perfect. Ken considers himself to be no better than anyone else. He sees himself as an ordinary person who has done the best he could with what God gave him. He was raised in a family that was lorded over by a violent, sadistic, adulterous, wife-beating alcoholic father. Consequently, the first twenty years of Ken's life was hellish for him and his family. For all intents and purposes, Ken's life didn't even start until age 20, and then only with great emotional pain and difficulty. He was molested by a male at the age of five. His parents built and operated Aldergrove Beach, a private park, until the government bought it and expanded it into Aldergrove Lake Regional Park. Ken has almost been killed in serious accidents at least four times and there have been attempts on his life. He was a Postmaster for the Federal Government of Canada for eighteen years before a criminal conspiracy by corrupt Canada Post operatives prematurely ended his career. The entire Canada Post affair is extensively documented in the three autobiographical works Ken has authored entitled 'Post Mortem', 'Analysis' and 'The Clawing Tree'. Ken is English and French bilingual. He has thrice campaigned for the Mayoralty of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. He is the founder and president of The Freedom Party of British Columbia and has twice campaigned for provincial office. He has, from time to time, been prevailed upon, and twice agreed, on humanitarian grounds, to defend innocent people against gravely serious criminal charges in the Supreme and Provincial Courts of British Columbia. He won those cases. He currently composes and records music, studies theology, eschatology, law, history and French, Spanish, Punjabi, Hebrew, Latin and other languages in his 'spare time' and was in recent times self-employed as an advocate, investigative analyst and counsellor. For the last few years, Ken has been the primary caregiver for his most beloved and beautiful mom as she suffered through dementia and manifold physical disabilities. Ken's mom had faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior and she went to Heaven on August 22, 2010. Ken currently resides in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. Below is a song Ken composed in memory of his mom.

Mom - Florence Marion Tungehaug

I want to thank you Jesus for saving my mom

Now she's up in heaven where she belongs

She's happy and she's smiling, walking those streets of gold

She's young and she's beautiful and will never grow old

She's laughing and she's lovely in the presence of the Lord

She's safe and she's free, forevermore

Where do I start to tell you about her

Poetess and princess and philosopher

Generous and gentle and compassionate

The sweetest person that I ever met

Talented and creative beyond compare

Seamstress and chef extraordinaire

Whenever you needed her, she was there

And you always knew she cared

Her name was Florence, and a flower she was

Just like an angel from above

And if you hear me honey, I love you forever

And soon we'll be together again
